The Brooks Hotel is located in downtown Wallace, placing it with in walking distance of bars and restaurants. The staff is a delight. My room was clean and quiet. I recommend staying there after a long ride on the Idaho BDR.

The bathrooms are very tiny and a little outdated, but the rest of the hotel room was lovely. We arrived after 7 pm so had an automated check in. Same for check out the next morning at 8:30. I would have preferred being able to talk to a real person about local recommendations for shops and restaurants it I understand staffing might be a challenge in a small town.

Historic hotel in the heart of Wallace ID. Walking distance to all the sites of the town with many eating options, museums, and shops nearby. Comfortable bed and pillows with a lot of nice touches that gave the building and the room a historical feel with the modern conveniences of a small refrigerator, microwave, television etc.

Old facility. Bathroom very small. Old tub patched areas multiple places in bathroom. AC unit in window facing street. So if you want cold air you can’t close drapes over unit. Then you have street lights on all night shining in room.
