They never came to clean the room nor was ever offered at the check in. People at the counter were not friendly, room was okay but bathroom tub had to be cleaned. I took a bunch of hair out myself because the water wasn’t going, the hair was a lot, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a while.

While there are many beautiful and enjoyable aspects at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, our experience at the resort was diminished by a few things. While some of the staff were incredibly warm, friendly and knowledgeable, others were not. Some staff were downright bossy and rude. Others didn’t seem interested in helping us or simply didn’t know how to answer our questions. Check-in is 4PM. We checked in early (2PM). We did not actually get into our room until 5:00PM. It was nicely updated but there was ugly construction netting by our lanai, so we had a crummy “view.” Our mom had a separate room that was outdated and not very clean. We are fit and active, but the walking was a downer. It takes a LONG time to get from place to place, and there are many steep bridges with stone stairways. Breakfast buffet was good, but super pricey. Food at on-property restaurants was not good. We took the shopping shuttle to a store and farmer’s market to purchase fruit and other items to keep in the mini fridge. There is beautiful art work throughout the resort. Buddha Point is lovely for sunset. The ocean beach is beautiful, but not swim/lounge friendly (coral & lava rocks), and the lagoon is terrific for swimming (kids loved it). There are turtles, tropical fish and Rays (bring goggles/snorkle mask). You can rent paddle boards and kayaks. The pools are nice & one has fun slides. You can view the dolphins without participating in the actual dolphin experience ($$$). Would not stay here again.

The only issue about this hotel is the breakfast, they keep people waiting while they have so many empty tables. When I asked to the host about it she was rude, disrespectful and with attitude she told me my name is Brigitte by the way. Trying to say that if I complain she won’t care.

Is like a hotel-museum, beautiful, big enough and with multiple activities to do. It has an internal transportation train that runs so slowly but at the same time very useful. Near the hotel you can find an shooing area where can find mire affordable food (inside the hotel Is expensive) the hotel also have a shuttle to get people there (if you don’t want to walk) and you pay 5 dollars for it.

A magical Hawaii experience in a fantasy luxury resort. It has aged a bit, but it is still just amazing. The lagoon with its beach. The waterfall. The dolphins. The extensive swimming pool, with its slide and hanging bridge. The expansive property. The audacious design. The connecting train. The ocean front scenery. Sunset dining. Luau, if you want it (we had dinner instead). Beautiful and large rooms with balconies. Some drawbacks? It has aged a bit. The connecting boats next to the train no longer seems to run, sadly. Asking for tips at breakfast? Annoying. C’mon, I already paid plenty of money for everything, leave me alone now, let me enjoy! The 20$ threat for not returning towels — seriously? It is not checked anyways — but what do you think I am, a thief? I feel insulted. Plus, if someone wants to take a towel, how much is this really hurting your bottom line? The property felt a bit empty, but fine: more to enjoy yourself.

Wonderful property. The resort is gorgeous with breathtaking views. There is a tram on the property which is very cool. The snorkeling in the bay in the middle of the hotel was amazing. One of my most favorite resorts.
