I thought room was very nice. Our only complaints were: the TV was not HD and had a terrible picture. Also, the breakfast was OK, except the coffee was terrible (undrinkable) and it would have been nice to have some sausage or bacon with the scrambled eggs.

Ok stay friendly staff and quiet
Little dusty room did look clean just not super cleanly I noticed stains on side of bed stains on underside of lamp shade wall was missing paint in two spots on wall overall friendly staff bed frame was bit sharp but I made due with coffee cup over it so as to not hurt myself when getting out of bed was nice theres microwave and mini fridge coffee maker and hairdryer work wonders shower was good tub looks like needs new one other than that no problems pool was empty when we went that was plus love swimming !

Upon check-in, the front desk person said my room number out loud which is not appropriate. Then when I got to my room, it looked clean but I found some hairs on the bedsheets. I had a empty can that I left on the desk overnight and when I woke, there were ants all over the can and on the desk. I spoke to the front desk agent upon check-out and he did give me a discount on my room, but really said nothing else about my concerns. Didn't seem too concerned about them. The breakfast that was available wasn't great either.

This property is aging. Rooms could be spruced up, breakfast area wasn't stocked well.... formerly was our favorite place for stopping in this area.....not always the case anymore. Example.... don't make your waffle irons hot but not bring out any waffle batter? No milk in frig.... wipe up a messy table....those are pretty easy ways to keep guests happy.

The property was nice and clean. The rooms were clean and large, the breakfast was good, and the pool area was nice. The front desk person when we checked in was very nice. On Saturday evening, I had a difficult time get to ng a hold of the front desk guy to turn on the lights in the pool area. It would have been nice if the front desk was more available.

hotel rooms need significant improvements
AmeriVu Inn appears to be have the highest rating between this and one other hotel. It is a nice hotel from the outsite and in the main lobby area. The hallways are very dark and could use some brighter lighting. The room was large and nicely furnished, but somewhat outdated. The towels in the bathroom were the thinnest and oldest condition I have ever seen- almost equivalent to thick microfiber sheet. This swayed us from taking a shower and leaving home earlier than expected. The breakfast options were minimal and it appears there was no intention to replenish the food throughout the morning. This also swayed us to leave early so we could go somewhere else to eat breakfast. Waconia is a really neat town with many amazing destinations to visit on the weekend, but it is unfortunate there are not many great hotel options available. It was disappointing to pay over $200 for a hotel in this condition and would not recommend.

This hotel is pretty worn down. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathrooms were grimy, the towels were ancient. They seemed understaffed as there was never anyone at the front desk. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. There was absolutely no fruit and only skim milk. After one morning we opted to skip. The room was decently clean despite its age.
