My only minor complaint was the tour bus people were fairly obnoxious until midnight, they kept walking outside and yelling in the parking lot. Dinner was also loud. However there was ample seating, and the food was quite fresh and good. So I did not mind the loudness of the crowd.
It’s nice is hotel is right outside of Vik about 10 minutes. Close to downtown but still out enough that you get the feel of Iceland. The place was clean and had a nice light up the steep driveway to help with driving at night. Overall nice but nothing super crazy. Just what you need if you’re looking for a place to stay a few nights.
Excellent hotel, very courteous staff, breakfast was superb with lots of choices.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms was big, excellent design, very clean, water pressure was excellent, even had heated floors which felt great.
In short lovely hotel, will definitely stay there in the future.
Myself and my sister had a lovely stay, the service was second to none and a big shout and thank you to Stefanos our bar tender for the evening! He was so welcoming and made a great themed cocktail. Clean, comfortable and good tea/breakfast selection. If we are ever back in Iceland we would definitely stay here again.
Very nice hotel. Easy to get to. Not located in town but not that far away either. Staff were friendly and helpful and easy to work with. Rooms were large with lots of space. Beds were comfortable. Limited TV channels if you're wanting to watch TV. Lots of space for luggage storage. No fridge. Best option of this hotel was the breakfast. Huge spread with lots of options which for the 4 of us would probably cost $90 at a restaurant.
The property is good, nothing actually to complain about it the only disadvantage is the location too far from town. The restaurant at the property was not the best. Staff quite polite and attentive though.
Very nice location at the top of a huge hill. Family owned and operated. Nice bar and restaurant table are set up in a banquet style. Breakfast buffet is huge and our dinner the night we got there was very nice with the chef specials. I had artic chard and my friend had stuffed peppers - both were tasty. Rooms were very large. It was windy when we stayed and we were able to catch some northern lights! A nice experience.
