Fantastic boutique style but large hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the huge Wiener hbf train station. It’s not bang central Vienna and other areas might have slightly better restaurant options but it worked great for us. A simple direct train or bus from the airport then very easy to find the hotel and a brilliant choice of transport including the superb tram service outside the hotel door. Hotel rooms are lovely with a trademark round porthole style window. The bed is huge with separate duvets which is inspired! Nice bathroom with brilliant shower and also great toiletries. Only tiny issue was the coffee mugs not having handles so impossible to hold straight away as too hot! Sort that out Mooons! We did not use the hotel for breakfast as we found an amazing cafe Goldegg a 2 minute walk round the corner. The rooftop bar is lovely in good weather but the main bar was a little dull in-the evening. A very minor issue when laid against all the other excellent attributes of Mooons. Very highly recommended

Fairly new property and only 2 blocks from the train station and 3 blocks from subway. The bathroom was great and the bed area was adequate size. The bad aspect of the room is there is zero furniture. Have to put suitcases on the floor. The front desks staff was very good and the breakfast average but price too high !!

Love this hotel! Was greeted by friendly and professional staff, and when I got to the room, I was even more impressed. The room was ultra modern and spotless. The room had all amenities I would want and also had a great view to top it off. Will stay there anytime I am in Vienna!

Lovely hotel. Nice big room. Breakfast vegetarian but ample choices. Roof bar lovely but very limited drink choices. Would have loved a cocktail menu not just 5 choices total.

The hotel is modern, new, and clean. It's only 4-minute walk from the central train station and easy access to good restaurants. The service was excellent during our stay. The staff at the front desk is especially friendly and helpful. The wi-fi is very fast. The breakfast included in our stay is high quality.

Moons Hotel Vienna is a trendy, modern spot with a fantastic location near the main train station. The minimalist design gives it a sleek vibe, and the rooftop terrace is a great bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the rooms, though a bit small, were stylish and comfortable. Perfect for a city break!

Stayed 6 nights in a king room on a high floor at this wonderful hotel, which was a bit high for my normal price range, but I'm glad we splurged! The breakfast buffet is outstanding and we didn't miss the meat at all. The room was very chic & had a great view of the city from the large slanted windows with a motorized shade. The bathroom toiletries esp the body lotion were great. Hotel staff were all very professional, especially Afra at checkout. The gym was excellent and the rooftop bar was great except for the smokers spoiling it. The location is convenient next to the main train station and the Belvedere. Again, so glad we stayed here.

A fantastic experience, one I would recommend. Very convenient for the main station. Lots of public transport to get into city centre. Breakfast was really nice, the rooftop bar was worth a visit. Staff were very helpful, even providing me with some milk on check in so I could make a cup of tea! I paid extra for a city view room, I’m so pleased I did, this was worth the extra.

A very good hotel
A great hotel with comfy, modern rooms and a fabulous roof top bar. Breakfast was also excellent. The location is handy for the Hbf and Belvedere though there isn’t much else around. However the quality of the hotel made up for that, and there are plenty of transport options close by to connect with the city.

Overall, Mooons was fine, but I likely wouldn't stay there again. Pros: *Proximity to Wien HBF train station (about a 5 minute walk). *Recognizable building with an interesting theme. Cons: *Lack of attention to detail and potential hygiene issues. Staff member was noticeably sick while checking us in. Our room had eco bathroom products (which is great), but they were all low when we arrived, and the other toiletries (e.g., q-tip packs in our room were used). The bathroom lacked proper ventilation and smelled like mold. TV did not turn on. *At checkout, we were almost charged for breakfast (17 euro per person) which we did not take.
