Good location and clean hotel

The hotel location is good. Near all the amenities and just near the tube station. It located in the centre of the shopping malls as well as the St Stephen Cathedral. It’s quite clean and tidy. The only minor point is that the floor is wooden made, which means it may have some noise if someone is running or walking around during night.

Very nice hotel to stay when in Vienna and right at the heart of everything. You can walk to all the landmarks and also easy access to the metro. Breakfast is worth it. Room is clean and comfortable. We’ll be back again.

You cannot be in a more central location than this. It is at an intersection near the middle of the main shopping / dining pedestrian walkway that is always busy with people, and St. Stephan's Cathedral is right beside it. Walkable to many other sights, restaurants, and other districts. The hotel itself is first class, maybe not the most spacious or updated, but in great condition. The excellent breakfast buffet is a great way to start each day, but there is also an extremely popular and excellent cafe right next door. The hotel has 2 restaurants, and I wish someone had told us that they are quite in demand, particularly the one toward the top with the beautiful views, so that we could have made an advance reservation (it was all full for the 3 days we stayed). We were a family of 4 staying in a 2 queen bed room (we hear all rooms have 2 queens), and there was plenty of space for us.

Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Very helpful with directions and let us store our luggage and check out late. Only downfall was the restaurant staff were all very rude and the breakfast Buffet was terrible. We went to the rooftop to see it and grab a drink before dinner. They had a staff member waiting by the elevator who asked us if we had a reservation. When we said no and that we were just seeing the view he pushed the elevator button and closed the door on us and sent us back down! It was Xmas. Have some joy. Would stay again for location and hotel staff. Avoid both restaurants though.
