Great location and a well-run, clean comfortable hotel. Our room on the 5th floor was rather smaller than expected and the steps in the corridor on that floor made moving heavu suitcases very arduous

Good hotel, service slightly lacking

The hotel is well-located, right next to the Rathaus tram and subway station, which puts it a mere 10 minutes walk from the museumsquartier or the parliament. It's well kept and clean, beds are comfortable, the showers are good. But the service is not up to par. On our first night, we had a door hanger opting to give up having the room cleaned the next day in exchange for a beverage or donation. Quite nice, but after the first night, it never showed up again. The shower soap ran out on the second night, something else that we never saw again. And once during the stay, we got no bathroom mat. These are all small, easily corrected mistakes: I could certainly ask for a floor mat or soap in the reception. It's just a bad look for an otherwise great hotel. All things considered, I'd probably return.

I can't wait to come back.

the location is in a nice part of town. it is an extremely quiet part of town, having the window open while we slept was never a problem for noise. the hotel is spotless. the staff were terrific. the breakfast was exceptional. I was thankful we paid for it. we did not need to figure out where to go eat. I have never seen a better breakfast served.

We enjoyed this little cozy boutique hotel so much. After busy days sightseeing we loved having a drink in the bar or living room which were festively decorated for Christmas. I wish the breakfast were more reasonably priced. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Great location with terrific restaurants just a block away.

I rarely write reviews, but our experience at this hotel was so appalling that I feel compelled to share it. We booked a Deluxe Room at this hotel, the only option available at the time. We were traveling with a small child, which has never been an issue at any other hotel we’ve stayed at (and we travel frequently). However, upon arrival, our nightmare began, we were humiliated by the receptionist and manager, who aggressively claimed we couldn’t stay with a child in the room. We offered to share one bed, pay extra, or add an extra bed, but the manager refused, even saying our child "can stay on the street." After a long and humiliating ordeal, during which our child was in tears, we were allowed to stay for one night but were told we’d be kicked out the next morning with no refund. The manager followed through, forcing us to book another hotel at our expense and insisting the room was non-refundable—even though we didn’t cancel the booking, he did. How would that even apply? Attempts to resolve this were met with threats to call the police. The treatment we received was inhumane and utterly unprofessional. I cannot understand why the manager behaved this way or why he felt the need to ruin our holiday. The hotel’s behaviour was unprofessional, inhumane, and unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.
