Hotel was quiet and clean. Dated property. Guesstimate on last update was probably 40 years ago. Upgraded room at check in. But didn’t really need a kitchenette. Overall serene. Some noticeable items such as wallpaper peeling around shower. Some updates needed simply due to age of interior. Fabulous location. Easily walkable to city harbor and downtown. Friendly check in

I have stayed probably 4 times and love it, so easy to walk everywhere, the museum, Fishermans Wharf, Beacon Hill Park and the museum. Enjoyed the pool and hottub. I just wish they would stop using those small plastic toiletries. Imagine how many millions/billions are discarded from hotels. Time to change!
