The hotel is central to attractions. The only complaint we have is that one day the maid service didn’t leave any towels. We had to phone twice before towels were delivered.

Very friendly staff. Requested a second comforter for the room. It was delivered quickly. Room was across from the elevator but all was quiet in the room. Great view from the 14th floor room. The warm cookies at "check in" is a nice touch. Parking is always an issue in Downtown Victoria. Hotel provides valet service at an extra cost.

First time staying at double tree but, I absolutely loved it! The only change I would make is the pillows, much too soft and I like memory foam bamboo pillows!. Great stay though

Another good stay
This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again. Staff are very friendly although there was a minor hiccup getting my credit card to work at check in. Room s compact but well appointed but our kettle did not work (no base provided). We rang the front desk and the matter was rectified with 10 minutes. No welcome gift or room upgrade offered.

Pleasant stay
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Everything you need is walkable and in the area. Restaurant is decent. But again you can walk to any other restaurant. If I had to complain about something I’d say elevators make concerning noises to the point every guest in it would make a comment about it. Thanks.

The property was close to many amenities however very noisy from street, construction and dogs barking next door to us, most hotel staff were very friendly however just a few were very rude and that definitely left an impression, the restaurant downstairs was great, it was very difficult to get clean towels and we never received room service even though we took do not disturb sign off door. Unfortunately the bad out weighed the good in this case, some of the issues were beyond staff’s ability to resolve. The valet was awesome very friendly and attentive. Hotel rooms were very mediocre.

This hotel pleasantly surprised me with spacious room, but.. the size of the bathroom is just enough to fit one person with door closed. No room for two in the morning! The common spaces are also very minimalistic. You wont find a spacious lobby in this hotel, rather opposite, a space just enough for a for guests to check in. Breakfast is available nut not included, parking only valet. All of that is OK for a single night stay, but... the vent in the room has not been cleaned for a while, and a lot of dust particles fly like mosquitoes under the light fixtures. You just guess how much of those dust you'd ingest overnight...

The property was well located to the tourist area. I did not like the confusion and charge for breakfast. One price for less food and another for more. I got all confused which one was which. The hostess understood and did not charge me since I just left what I had taken on my plate.We had breakfast the next day at another location in Victoria.
