We liked the location because it was so nearby to many of the places we wanted to visit. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. However, we did NOT like how poorly the rooms were sound-proofed. We could easily hear conversations outside our door and in the room next to us through the locked communicating door. A bit awkward.

This suited my needs when I was traveling with my family to Victoria. It's conveniently located, steps away from restaurants, shopping, museums, galleries and the harbor. The rates were reasonable. The hotel is older but the rooms were clean and the staff was awesome. There is no air conditioning but we were traveling at the end of March, so it wasn't necessary at the time. I think you could still be comfortable in the summer with the window open and a fan blowing.

Older property, only has heat in room no AC, lobby has a strong floral smell. Very central location with many walkable things to do. Elevator is tiny and a little scary, can only fit 2-3 people at the most. Room we were in had a step up into the bathroom which was unspecified and hard to navigate.
