Paid for the penthouse for a special occasion. Several locations on the deck were rotten - as in if you stepped on them you might break through, dirty windows inside and out, exterior sorely in need of paint, door lock to sliding glass door broken, kitchen faucet broken, and serious dirt in the corners of the rooms along the floors.

Overall decent - location & breakfast great

The breakfast was good - hot eggs and ham/sausage plus usual breakfast options. The lady running the breakfast room was lovely. Our room had a small kitchen which was unexpected but would be nice for longer visits. Itโ€™s an older property that has been updated.The gym is very small. The only thing that disappointed me was how dismissive the front desk staff were when we were checking out and I was trying to talk to them about a couple things that needed attention in the room. I believe you canโ€™t fix it if you donโ€™t know, but I guess youโ€™d have to care too.

Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Had stayed previously, along with friend group, but we will look for alternatives. Disappointed in a couple of significant areas. Attempted to resolve issues, did resolve some, but spent too much valuable time working out hotel glitches that frankly, the customer shouldn't have to. Had enjoyed previously, but will be looking at other options, with perhaps better value, service oriented staff/ management, updated. On the plus side: great location, lovely women staff working in breakfast room.
