Lovely room with view of Inner Harbour. Kitchenette wasn't supplied - cook top with no pans; no bowls; no silverware; If you don't want the cooktop used, then take it out and put in a microwave.

This is a favourite hotel. Lots of charachter and in a great area. No floor length mirror but then who cares what I look like. Will stay here again.

Good central location in Downtown Victoria for waterfront, harbour and shops. The bed was very comfortable and the coffee supplied with the machine was good and plentiful. Reception staff were helpful. The hotel had a 'faded grandeur' but was clean and comfortable.

A remodeled older building with interesting architecture. Bit of a walk-up, minimal personal contact and service. Excellent location if you want to be near the Inner Harbour at a “reasonable “ price. Night-life, restaurants and pubs abound in walking distance, and for breakfast, Frankie’s is the best in town. Not great bed but very efficient use of the area in room 16. I was alone but it would be tight for two larger people.

Really great location. Room was a little old, with worn carpet, strange kitchenette, and funky layout. Bed was fine. But is the location that rocks! So many shops and restaurants right around the hotel. Fun spot for sure.
