Elevators did not work and No hot water to take a shower. Not sure how they can feel good about charging people for a room there. Will never stay at another La Quinta hotel again.

This property is very nice, clean rooms, spacious and the customer service is absolutely amazing. I went to bed at 10pm, only to be woken up at 11pm by the snoring of the person in the room next to mine. LOUD snoring, even with the AC unit on high and my rain phone app turned all the way up, I couldn’t sleep. The walls aren’t thin, he just snored that loud, I could hear him all the way down the hall to the elevator. I went down to the front desk and asked if I could get another room. Kris was so nice, a little amused, but he was able to give me another room far enough that I didn’t hear Mr. Snuffleupagus!

It was good till Sunday morning when we went down to get breakfast at 8:50 and the cook came out and told us we better get everything we wanted because she was fixing to close breakfast.The hotel had a sick young man walking around checking the rooms I guess but he was walking by people coughing and sneezing without covering his mouth.He sounded like he had the flu or covid.

We liked the quietness and being close to dining options. When we travel, we stay at La Quinta because they accept small pets. This one in Vicksburg is worn down and needs a refresh. It looks great, but you can see where the base molding is coming off, etc. Breakfast was not what we are used to, and we realize it may be due to inflation and the cost of food.

Everything went well. I had decent green space to walk the dogs and our room was comfortable. Nice price. Easy access and plenty of food choices nearby. Breakfast was good and there was always an attendant around to update food
