Terrible experience I have ever have.
Burned Cigars were in the drawer desk. The bath drain was too slow. Broken glass was found at the floor carpet. The smell everywhere was stink such as bed, drawer etc.

We had issues with the first room we were in, as it was adjoining another room and the seal on the door was lacking so it was quite loud. The traffic noise also comes through the patio. There is a lot of general mechanical noise day and night but it wasn’t too bad. The first room was pretty surface clean but there old stains on the carpet and ceiling and the shower was finicky. Hotel staff were very accommodating and kindly switched our room for our second night. The upper floor is newly upgraded and a lot quieter. Fresh paint. Very clean, new taps in the bathroom. Overall it was excellent for the price once we were moved.

The price couldn't be beat so we are giving the place 3* rather than 2*. Our stay was pretty good after the initial shock after checking in... the room was dirty upon arrival with the freezer still containing ice cream from the previous tenant and a dirty sock on the floor. One wall was quite noticeably dirty and the AC unit had no controls but the ventilation blew loudly throughout our whole stay. The temperature was fine and we weren't too hot or cold. It also did help in blocking out the traffic noise though as our room would have been very loud beside a busy intersection, so that worked out well. The front desk was very pleasant and had offered us another room, but we had already moved everything into the hotel before inspecting the room (we learned from this moving forward and will always check before hand!). The pool was usable, very cloudy, but the kids enjoyed it. The hot tub was out of order. The grounds were well kept but the area was quite shady outside. We saw later that other rooms contained black banners around the bed sheets so we are pretty sure they had just missed completely cleaning our room before we were moved into it, so we otherwise would have given 3-4* (and if the ventilation was not so loud that we almost couldn't talk in the room).

Other than the stained but clean carpet, this hotel was a great place to stay. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It was quiet, the bed was vey comfortable, and I had a great sleep.

I was happy with all aspects. There were a couple of minor issues if you want some constructive criticism. 1. Cleaning of room inconsistent 2. Room clean. However tub has stain and curtain dirty…. Detract from otherwise clean environment. 3. Better breakfast options. These are minor in scope compared to my overall impression. I felt very good about all other aspects of room and stay.
