Staff were very very nice and helpful. If you see a warning sign to patrons that violence and foul language to staff will not be tolerated posted in elevator, probably not at the best property. Room was musty and hot. Fine for a two night stay as a very low rate. Change room to pool is run down, gym is in an odd space in the lobby entrance and not used. Looks like the restaurants onsite closed down It was a very busy and popular hotel. If return to Vernon would stay at the sandman or something newer. Great price for room so zero complaints

The property is very good overall The customer service and the reception staff is super accomodating and polite The girl who was on the reception was very polite and explained everything and check in process was very smooth The rooms was very clean as well as the washroom!! There is a small gym but it had what we needed:-) Overall 5 star experience:-)

Staff was friendly and kind at check-in. Our king room was nice and clean. The hotel is older and partially renovated but the hot tub and sauna were broken (as we were told they always are later) and we were very disappointed as we booked with these amenities in mind in particular and even called the night before to confirm they were working before coming, as we had seen several other reviews that said they weren’t working. Our rooms air conditioning didn’t work but we had a big balcony door to open and the weather was fair so we were okay but I would definitely not stay in the summer with how warm it would get. The restaurant is and pub in the hotel and both also shut down. $70 for a king is a decent price though, if you aren’t interested in amenities.

The lamp in the family room was sporadic. One touch it was on and then it wasn't. Not enough plugs for cell phones, tablet, hearing aids. The fridge was on and then overnight it went off. Had some whipped cream desserts in there. No good in the morning.

There for 3 days given just 1 face cloth despite 2 requests for more. No air conditioning, room was constant 25°C. Had a floor fan to help. No cleaning during stay, not even garbage emptying or new coffee pods, etc. Had to ask without full success. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Lots of permanent residents. Not likely to stay here in future.

After a horrific flight and dealing with an incredibly rude, aggressive airport authority, we were emotionally drained by the time we arrived.
