Great location. Parked the car when got in and didn't need it until the departure time. Walked to every place we had to go. The hotel and its services were a different story!!! Wish the management would make the place more friendly for the guests. Poor water flow/temp in the shower, front desk seems to be always busy to talk to you, ocean view room isn't really ocean view (have to use the balcony to see the ocean), and other stuff.

Room was pretty clean and comfortable, we asked for extra towels and they were brought super fast and excellent coustomer service... Only issue was our room was pretty close to the freeway and was a little noise all night.

Great staff

Stayed with family for a short trip and found the location perfect. Staff was super friendly, energetic and helpful. In fact the staff are the reason I would recommend the place. I did not like having the bed so close to A/C vent or hearing the train horn at night. But the bar was lively, the steakhouse across the way was delicious, the gym was sufficient, pool was relaxing, and I just loved the easy access to the beach. Thanks to all the great staff at the CP, they were the best.

I have stayed many times at this hotel. Its my favorite in the Ventura area! Comfortable, beautiful and plenty of amenities, also walkable into the quaint downtown area and the ocean boardwalk is connected to the property. It's a wonderful place to sray!

Front lobby was. Nice. Hallway where rooms were— narrow, dirty rug, extremely unsightly and unappealing. Room was not as represented on Expedia. Rooms was small, ugly, dirty. Coffee pot did not work. Area around the hotel was seedy and served unsafe. Will not be staying here again.
