Very disappointed. Not what we expected. We paid extra for an ocean view room and when we got there they didn’t have any. They put us on the second floor with a view of the parking garage, right above the restaurant with the dueling pianos. It was so loud in our room we couldn’t hear the tv. They said the pianos would stop at 10 and they didn’t stop until almost 11! We had to leave the room and take a walk to get away from the noise. We love entertainment but we planned a nice relaxing romantic stay in the upper floors with an ocean view. The TV options sucked. Pretty much need to buy anything to watch with very limited channels. No Netflix or Hulu options either. The lady next to me at check in had the same complaints. Obviously a problem. Why sell rooms when they are available!! We don’t have a lot of throw around money so when we paid extra to stay somewhere that sold themselves as a nice place to get away and not get it, very disappointed and that sucks. The only nice things were the sweet girl who checked us in and the bartender. Other then that it was awful.

We have stayed here many times. Love the restaurant on site. Walking the pier and the walk along the beach is wonderful. The only problem we had was that one room #517,was directly above the restaurant and on both Friday and Saturday nights they have extremely loud music from 8 to 10:30 pm. Had to use earplugs.

The front desk staff was mixed. Some friendly others not. Also, we asked about making a reservation at the restaurant but were told it was not needed. When we arrived, most tables were reserved, fortunately they squeezed us in. We had a South facing room, North facing are much nicer.

Great location. Every room has a view of the ocean. We brought our bikes and biked along the boardwalks and into town. There are lots of places to eat and shop. The hotel locked our bikes up for us which was convenient.

We went to stay one night. We had to be up at 5am so we asked for a quiet room. They put us on the third floor facing a very loud bar that was next to the hotel. Then there was the train horn. OMG !! I called the front desk asking how long the bar next door has loud music and the girl said till about 11PM. She said that the train runs all night long. So I asked to be moved. They moved us to the 7th floor on the opposite side of the hotel. MUCH BETTER. So, the service and the staff was amazing, but rooms facing East are noisy. The rooms facing West will be much quieter. And the valet guys are awesome !!
