Cute but uncomfortable

Really cute hotel that was kept clean. Parking was a little tough, but the mattress and pillow were hard AF. Could feel the springs in the bed, super uncomfortable. Additionally, the hotel is within earshot of the nearby train.

Charming quiet hotel in a great location.

Beautiful hotel!! Front desk was so friendly and helpful. Hotel is very ‘boutique’-like. Beautiful warm decors. Quiet hotel room. Great location. Free parking. We walked to Main Street and had dinner and in the morning (Saturday morning) walked Main Street which had converted into an incredible Farmers Market. Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

Gem of a hotel in downtown Ventura

Beautiful hotel, beautiful architecture and decor. Spotless clean, large rooms with a lot of character. Excellent customer service. Easy check-in / checkout. (They allowed me to check in much earlier, as I needed to on the day.) Basic but good and fresh breakfast in beautiful atrium in the morning. A five minutes drive from the Majestic Theatre. A gem of a hotel where I would happily return and highly recommend.

Perfect location for the Ventura Marathon. Front desk staff was not too friendly. She seemed bothered by helping us. She kept telling us to come back later to check in and then a friend arrived and was able to check in right away.

It was okay. I imagine they must have staffing shortages because we had to wait to check in for 10 minutes late at night when the front desk wasn’t staffed and no one was around. Our room didn’t have any towels when we arrived, and once they delivered some, one had a brown stain so we needed a replacement. The room was very dusty and for some reason there were no outlets near the beds or nightstand so we had to charge our phones in the bathroom. Probably wouldn’t stay here again since it cost over $200 for one night.

It was a fun stay. Includes breakfast and is right next to farmers market. Beach is nearby maybe 20min walk? My kids didn't think it was a hotel and just thought it was a big house because of the architecture. Rooms were a little dated but not bad. We will probably consider it next time we are in town.

nice stay

Nice cute downtown hotel. friendly staff and clean room. the room is a little tight and the parking situation is not great. the outside area looked nice but didn’t get to check it out. wish they had water bottles in the fridge since drugstores were not really walking distance. it got super loud at night but hopefully that’s unusual. the room started off hot but the AC was effective.
