Kudos to the staff for the service prior and during our stay. Staff accommodated our after hours arrival with not a problem. They provided detailed instructions of how to enter the hotel and to access our room. We had a problema with the AC, but hotel staff arrived to our room and were able to solve the issue. Our room was bigger than expected, clean, tidy and likely recently renovated. I was surprised of their modern building’s management system which control lights and AC in our room. The location is 20 minutes by bus (#5) to Venice and 12 minutes walking distance to the airport. There are a couple of restaurants across the street. If you like a quiet and nice looking place with a short commute to Venice and not too far away of the airport, House Bella Onda is a great place to stay.

The room was fine. The shuttle picked us up from the airport but we were on our own for transportation back to the airport. (Taxi 20 euros) We thought it was a bed and breakfast as advertised. It was not. There was no coffee and no breakfast. The surrounding area is a bit seedy. Pay up and stay at the Courtyard.

This place is ok. The bathroom is tiny it doesn’t have a shower door. The beds are very hard and the AC does not work. huts off if you open the door and even if you turn it on it doesn’t work. The staff were kind to change the settings to leave it on when we left but the machine doesn’t work at all so it did not cool the room. It was 29 C in the room so we couldn’t sleep before our flight making it miserable to travel international. I booked this hotel because it had A/C but again it was one of those places that list A/C but it doesn’t work.

The free shuttle is very limited hours (2pm-7pm) and only available from the airport. There were tiny ants everywhere in the room and the bed was very hard. The room was clean and air conditioning was decent.
