The hotel in general was fine. Our room was 30 degrees C and we got no clear reason why they couldn’t put on the air conditioning. The hallways and main entrance was cool. We opened the window that let in some cool air, along with flies and the area noise. We had travelled for nearly 12 hours to get to this hotel in order to fly out the next morning at 4:00 AM. The free shuttle the advertise doesn’t start until 5AM…which they should advertise. At the end of all this, and an over $300 bill, I would have looked elsewhere. I expected more from a Crowne plaza!!

The Crown Plaza is about 10 minutes away from the Venice airport which was very convenient for us. The hotel shuttle was unable to pick us up from the airport so they paid for our taxi (after calling). This was unusual, but convenient. Without this the taxi would have been about 50 euros for us which is a lot in my opinion. The hallways and hotel are old and need refurbishment, but the room was clean. The hotel restaurant was decent for a quick bite to eat in the evening. The shuttle took us back to the airport at 5am the next morning as arranged with no issues. Overall it was an ok stay, but worked well for us. Not fancy, but acceptable.

The guy that was helping in our breakfast was so nice . My son has a lot allergies with peanuts and a lots of stuff but he gave us lots of best options. He treat us nicely and he's very accommodating. I think he's name is Marsen , if i'm not mistaken.

It was a beautiful stay for us in this hotel. They have been very attentive and service with a smile. From the shuttle driver, concierge, breakfast staff and room staff - thank you. can't complain. They even made my wife's birthday a special one ♥️ The hotel is just 2 mins walk to the train station and 25-30 mins away from Venice city via train ride.

The staff are not welcoming. They didnt introduce the hotel so we keep asking questions. When I asked wjy the room is hot, they said they shut off the ac for the season and running on fan. I requested to increase the fan but I think the turn it off. We open the window but then there are bugs.

Great location to the train station and Airport. We had travelled the day by train and the location was perfect. We walked off the train and the Crowne was within walking distance. Staff were kind and courteous and the buffet breakfast was excellent. A perfect place for a weary traveller.

We didn’t like the fact that coffee is not available early in the morning in the lobby. Also, from Expedia no information prior to arrival at airport how to book the shuttle to the hotel. Because we need to reserve the shuttle 24 hours in advance.

Ask about AC before booking this property. AC is switched off even though it is 22 degrees Celsius outside so there’s no ventilation in the room. No fan was available so I had to sleep with window wide open just to get some air into the room. This became uncomfortable as we are next to train track. The room smells smoky.

Booked last minute after a flight change required a stay near the airport. Safe neighborhood. Staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Hotel full of passengers who had just finished a cruise. Hallway carpeting was disgusting on every floor-- really (vomit stains) and it smelled soooo bad, like years of cigarette smoke masked with a heavily scented cleaning [product. Room was clean, but had the same odor.

Excellent property, convenient to train from cruise port and train to Venice. Clean comfortable, friendly staff with 2 dining choices. Only problem is Air Conditioning which was turned off in room due to the time of year. At night it reached almost 29c or 84f. Way to hot to sleep. .
