Place is really close to train station which is perfect but we had to make the beds ourselves specially the bunk bed. The main bed does not have bedsheets and the comforter is really small even for a single person. Toilet flush is not working well. Over all I did not feel the place is thorough clean. It could be better.

Our stay was great. The gentlemen who help us was very helpful. Our room was not ready when we arrive, he checked us in anyway so that once it was ready all we need to get was the key. He took our luggage so we could go into town. Room was clean and comfortable, although it did have a lingering odor. Walls could use a coat of paint. They were stain and dirty.

Checkin was awful. It took the customer service person 35 mins to check us in. It was like she was doing other work instead of checking us in. The room was so dirty. I have never been to a hostel private room that wasn’t cleaned. There was stuff all over the walls and the shower had so much mold in it. Would NOT recommend.

We really looked forward to staying here, because the provided bunk beds for kids, breakfast and were close to the station to get to Venice. BUT when we got into the room. Our shower was COVERED in BLACK MOLD! I mean covered. Sooooooo baddd. When we asked to move the room. There was still black mold on the floor area, but less, the showers head was again completely covered in black mold. The staff said that would be the best they could give us. And they couldn’t refund us the money. So we had to stay there, thank god only two nights. And just do shower baths for kids. Everyone lived and got to see magical Venice. If not the sanitary issue this place would have been decent for what we needed.

Great ambiance. There was a rock band on Saturday. There were not enough jacks in the room. One per bed would be good. There is a great Italian restaurant Da Michel near the hotel. The rooms are clean. Felt very safe.
