What a magical and beautiful place in the spectacular Vejer de la Frontera. We loved this intimate, boutique hotel so much. Great staff. Absolutely beautiful property and rooms. Extremely quiet and private. I can't say enough. The pictures do not it justice. This is a really special place.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Perfect for this town.
Great buffet selection.
However, some of the room and Hotel descriptions were inaccurate. Specifically, no private bathroom (the bath and toilet are no located in a separate room and there was no swimming pool.
Wonderful Architecture. Comfortable room with large bathing tubs. Welcoming and attentive staff. I would always return to this hotel. Highly recommend it.
Quick trip to the region ahead of our wedding in June. Lovely hotel in a great location. Slightly setup in our room
Which was above the front desk but on the whole would recommend. Delicious breakfast and mins walk to most locations.
Oh the rooftop is amazing!
This hotel is beautiful. Also expensive. The sheets are the smoothest I've ever felt, meticulously ironed, and the towels are big and fluffy.
I'm not sure those features are worth it to me but maybe they are to some.
Note: If you like bathroom privacy, this place is not for you. Our bathroom was beside the bed and separated by a curtain. Looks like it's something similar in other rooms.
There was an attractive antique wardrobe in our room, but no shelves to unpack onto, and no luggage rack, so we kept our suitcase open on the floor. Very nice looking but not entirely practical.
Word to the wise: check out the prices at the honour bar before you pour yourself a glass of wine. Hotel might want to rethink the message they are sending. Is it worth it to treat your guests like chumps for the sake of a few euros?
Really it is a beautiful and well located and spotlessly clean place. I think I was just put off by those little things. I am sure they will continue to attract and delight plenty of other guests.
Really authentic hotel in Vejer. Quirky and unique, all the rooms are different. Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. It has a lovely rooftop terrace with an honour bar, great views over the countryside. The breakfast is excellent and we’ll worh the 10 euros.
Peaceful, historic and very comfortable rooms in the heart of beautiful Vejer de la Frontera. Delicious breakfasts, amazing rooftop sun terrace + plunge pool and an honest bar. A short stroll to numerous fantastic restaurants and a short drive to great beaches.
We have stayed here twice and love the hotel. Gorgeous rooftop sunbathing area with (very) small plunge pool. Rooms are lovely and great location although quite difficult to find. Vejer itself is brilliant - lots of lovely little restaurants and within driving distance of several beaches.
The hotel was charming and very stylish with respect of the hotel's history.
We loved that the bathtop was in the middle of the room. The view was spectacular.
Small, pristine, beautiful and modern hotel in a medieval setting. Breathtaking views from the highest point in town. Very friendly and helpful staff. An Oasis. Many stairs and levels with no elevator, so mind how many and size of suitcases.
This hotel was a dream. The staff were very helpful and tea /coffee/ water was complimentary. They had a beautiful rooftop area with jacuzzi with views to die for and a great honest system for anything you drank from the bar. Breakfast was unbelievable and value for money... A very spiritual place, I highly recommend this hotel
Best location for a short trip to Vejer as this is right in the heart of town therefore only a short stroll to everything central including the many restaurants for which this area's now become famous. Our upgraded room was spacious & beautiful with bathroom 'in the bedroom' and a galleried area albeit that had a low ceiling. Some rooms are internal with windows only onto other areas of the hotel but a peek through the door also revealed appealing accommodation. There's no restaurant, breakfast is wherever you want to take it and there are 2 honour bars. If you fancy a massage, its down an old well via a spiral staircase circa 50 steps so that'll keep you fit! All in all a highly individual premises of unique character. It's not cheap but for location & what's on offer you couldn't beat it.
