The only thing we enjoyed about the Burrard is its good location. We found it very pricey, and it appears to be old and very rundown and not worth the price for sure. We both agreed that if we return to Vancouver Burrard will not be our choice for accommodation there

This is a very unique hotel in downtown Vancouver. I selected it because it was much cheaper than other hotels in the area. We were not disappointed! The Burrard is very cute and charming, with retro decor. We booked a king room and while the bed takes up most of the room, it was still very comfortable with our carry on luggage. The bathroom was clean and had nice shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap and lotion. Very small sink, but to be expected. The courtyard was a fantastic surprise and we enjoyed sitting by the fire table with our complimentary mocktail and chips to relax after a busy day. What a great touch! The hotel is also connected to Elysian Coffee which had great breakfast options and coffee, though the Nespresso machine was also very lovely to use. The Burrard is on the same street as St. Paul's Hospital, so for those who are not used to or are bothered by sirens, this might not be a great pick. I am a sensitive sleeper and used ear plugs which helped a lot. Overall, a great stay! We really enjoyed it and would come again for its fun vibe, location and price.

The Burrard is in such a good location. With our plans in Vancouver, it was an easy walk from the hotel to everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms are small, but very clean, modern and functional for what we needed. Bonus that the Elysian coffee shop is right off of the hotel lobby, and the restaurant Burgoo is right on the corner outside of the hotel. Highly recommend both places.

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at The Burrard. The property is functionally up-to-date, but maintains most of its mid 20th century motor inn motel character. Location is good - about a 10 minute walk (uphill) from the Yalehouse Skytrain station Canada Line -direct service from airport), and about a 10 minute walk from the Burrard station (Expo Line). Plenty of buses nearby. I found it very easy to get to other areas of the city. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return!
