I like it because it’s nearby to the ferry terminal. But the room was smelly old carpet which we couldn’t sleep soundly at all. The carpet must be changed or it needs floor renovations. Also it needs new and quiet air conditioner.

Comfortable beds, clean. Breakfast at the hotel was good.. We got in at 11:30 pm, slept and got up to go to the cruise ship. It was a good price.

If you don’t have a car buy a day pass at Save on Foods - after Tim Hortons on the left side. It cost $13 or pay $3.20 per trip. You can take the 240 bus that takes you right downtown and back. Our first stay, before our cruise, the room was nice and clean, the beds were or felt like double beds in room 214. This time we stayed in room 221 and the beds were queen size - but the room wasn’t as clean as the first one. Overall, I would return to this hotel. It is also very close - about 4km from Capilano Suspension Bridge if you feel like walking there.

A Good Budget Stay in North Vancouver Near Capilan

This is a good budget hotel in North Vancouver, located just a few minutes' drive from Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The building is a typical motel-style structure with ample parking and a swimming pool. There are Vietnamese and fast food eateries within walking distance. The breakfast and lunch restaurant located in the hotel is not operated by the hotel itself; it's a De Dutch franchise offering good food in generous portion sizes, though it is quite expensive. Our suite had a bedroom and a living room with a sofa, and it was very spacious and clean. The only drawback was the noise from footsteps of guests staying above us on the second floor — but this is a common issue with building construction in Canada.
