Seems like a great location, however dining options were limited. It would be better if there was a restaurant to have a breakfast. Plus, we were unable to order in as our room was not an option. The hall areas seem run down and a cloth napkin and cutlery were placed in a corner that we passed for three days!

Only 1 elevator working for the casino tower. 1 person doing check in with about 15 people in line. Stayed there prior and always enjoyed it. Will look to stay elsewhere in the future.

Terrible experience. The bedding was dirty and there was curly dark hair on the bathroom floor, in the shower and on the bath mat. Way too overpriced!

Overall it was okay. Everything in the room was okay except the sofa bed had used dirty sheets on it from previous guests. The in-room phone was broken so it was impossible to reach the front desk. When we finally went downstairs to talk to them, the lady was nice and apologized and said they would fix it. When we went back to the room (3 hours later), they had simply left the dirty sheets on the bed and put clean sheets on top. Had to take the dirty sheets off ourselves and make up the bed. Overall, not worth the $400 we spent for one night.

Pros: Location — basically next to the Richmond Night Market. Got $25 in free gameplay. Noodles in food court were pretty good and prices were reasonable. Lots of slots in casino. Huge bathroom in room. Free Parking. Cons: Long walk from parking garage to hotel room. Staff member at check in didn’t know basic info regarding where to park or how long the walk to the Night Market was, which was surprising and frustrating. Moldy grout throughout shower. Had to call maintenance at midnight because shower wasn’t draining. He cleared the drain but left black specks and hairballs (that were not ours) all over the shower pan. Lack of outlets in room. Marina View room had a very ugly view of the rooftop of another part of the casino, battered barges, and dirty water. Not worth the upcharge. You have to stand in line to check ID every time you pass through casino, even when you’re a hotel guest. This should be a more streamlined process. Overall, would only ever stay here to go to the Night Market. Otherwise, absolutely NOT worth the price.

I had a lovely stay at the River Rock Casino Hotel, friendly staff and the rooms are spacious. The area immediately outside the hotel lacked any shopping or eating facilities. However the Sky train link from the hotel to Waterfront made up for that. Overall a beautiful city and I enjoyed my stay.

Wait for absent check in clerk was 1 hour. Alternative arrangements and notices and directions absent. Hospitality is not guest centred or problem solving Late checkout options are limited or absent. Room service delivery timing is poor and content inaccurate. There is no airport shuttle but one can get a train, subject to long waits an baggage. There are many other hotels in the area.

Early check in good. Not enough towels for amount of guests. No pool towels. One guest harassed at casino entry for being intoxicated when in fact she was not, she is disabled with cerebral palsy, which was extremely embarrassing for her. Was very offensive.

Restaurant choices were horrible. Rooms okay but hotel across skybridge from casino resort. Confusing and difficult to navigate. Casino itself absolutely worst experience ever. All id did was change US$ to CAN$ and then back again. Never placed a bet or spent a dime.
