Fantastic location and fairly iconic hotel from the late 70s and 80s. The rooms aren't as up to date as some of the newer hotels but the rooms are generally large and quite well laid out. It was perfect as my office away from the office for a 3 days. My only complaint is that the HVAC system is ever present which makes it harder for a light sleeper like myself to sleep. (But sorted out by using noise canceling ear buds while sleeping.) The location is fantastic - close to public transit - and a lot of good shopping and dining options. It is well worth, though, straying more than 2-3 blocks away in order to find cheaper fare as a lot of the nearest restaurants are more expensive hotel restaurants.

Easy walking distance to the convention center. Very clean rooms, well maintained. Obviously somewhat older hotel. The prime rib at the restaurant was excellent, as was the service and the morning breakfast brunch. That one was included. One evening, the shower was tepid. It was explained to me that the hot water comes from the city and can vary. It was good the other days.

This hotel is expensive and is in in a very poor condition. The sheets had holes and the beds are tiny, not a room for four people, and the pool area can use new chairs and more maintenance. I used to book rooms for my bosses in this hotel and I’m actually embarrassed, for the amount of money they charge a night is not worth it. I was also forgotten at the restaurant twice the first time for over an hour, I needed leaving without eating, the waiter apologized for forgetting about me, and then the same thing happened the next day with another waitress. Very upset to have waisted my mone
