We almost always stay at this La Quinta when visiting Vancouver. It's convenient, friendly, has a good free breakfast, and indoor pool and gym. Parking can be a little difficult if you come in late. Plenty of shopping and places to eat nearby.

The carpeting in the room needed vacuuming. The wall by the tub and shower and the coping around the tub was moldy. On the bright side the towels were new and fluffy.

Rough Night Elevator Room
I must have bad luck cause every-time I stay at a hotel I get stuck next to the elevator, or drunk people in and out of there room all night. This time got placed in room 408 right next to the elevator. Room was nice but hearing everyone move through out the hotel was hard to sleep.

I stay at this hotel often, but I've noticed as fall/ winter approaches the lighting outside is very dark, i stay here because its pet friendly but its so dark outside where in the dog walking area it feels very unsafe. Also the fallen leaves need to be kept cleaned up as they become very slippery and i have fallen on this property from slipping on the wet and slightly icey leaves. This is a real concern that needs to be addressed

We came back to this location because we had been here ten years ago and had a good experience. The property has definitely retained some of the previous qualities but has also lost some. The microwave was extremely tiny and had only two dials for settings/cook times. The pillows very thin and the sofa saggy. Mattress on the pullout sofa was coming apart and should (in my opinion) have been replaced. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.
