The reviews were totally misleading. There was nothing exceptional. The breakfast was skimpy. The entire place needs an overhaul. The bed and bedding were fine. Front desk person was nice. Hot tub was under repair. It looked like people lived there almost homeless.
First, the hotel staff (Josh, Melissa & company) are a first class, professional team that made my stay one of the best ever! As far as the property goes, the are working through a complete remodel so some things aren’t what they will be soon (pool closed, some rooms under construction, etc.) but it was quiet, comfortable, clean and a great place to stay for the price!
As always the staff never disappoints! Ashley rehanna melissa and josh are the absolute best. They make every time we stay here feel like home but better. Thanks you guys!
My favorite part of this hotel is the amazing staff! Ashley is by far one of the best and most professional hotel mangers i have ever seen she handles issues with grace and understanding. Reannas smile and welcoming demeaner makes every guest feel as if they are the only guest there and melissa takes extra care when it comes to guests and making them happy, seeing her in the morning we know the waffles are always great! Last but not least we dont see him that often due to him being on the night shift but if ever we have a problem josh gets things handled swiftly and is always attentive to guests needs no matter the hour. My husbdand and I will continue to choose days inn vancouver first always! Thanks you guys!

The staff was nice, but the property looks really rough.
The sink in our room has a big crack, stains on the wall, hole in the lamp shade. Everything is very basic and very worn. It is clean enough and
the room didn’t smell, but we felt a bit wary of staying there.
It’s clearly used as housing for folks in need, which isn’t a problem as much as the fact that there are a lot of people hanging out outside and in common areas. It doesn’t feel safe.
We had no idea there was no elevator in the whole building. We came to the hotel for that and the pool and free bfast. And the pool was out of order. No elevator. Breakfast could’ve been much better. Wasn’t much there. Our floor in bathroom was breaking. The faucet for the shower was barely hanging on the wall. This hotel Needs attention. We had to ask for more toilet paper and towels. We stayed one night. Front desk workers had their kids with them. The kid may have been more helpful
Dirty and run down. Pictures don’t match what the property actually looks like. I found pubic hair all over my bathroom and the smell of the room was awful. I requested to change rooms the next room was better but not great.
