The staff were really nice and helpful. The rooms/lobby were really clean! It was a tad bit noisy because of other guests in the hallways but understandable because of the concert. It’s about a 30 minute walk from the sky train if you prefer not to take the bus. Very close to the beach and a good area for food and shopping. The rooms were nice but the hotel could itself could use an upgrade as it’s outdated. Especially the elevators. I would stay again as the staff and cleanliness made it enjoyable :)

My room had a noise issue from the neighbors, as well as a broken heater. When I asked the manager to be moved, he said there were no rooms available. I looked on Expedia and turned out he was lying. Plenty of rooms of the same type I booked were available. After pointing it out to him, he reluctantly changed my room. I don’t understand what the issue would be with changing the room and why would the manager lie. Terrible service. I highly recommend not booking this hotel. In addition, their walls and doors are so thin and the cleaning people start chattering at 8 am and you can’t sleep past that time. Rooms are also dated and furniture is worn and chipped. The pictures are not entirely accurate.

Great location, great dining options, excellent atmosphere, would stay here again. Only cons are - property could use a refresh, rented 3 rooms for the family and mine was smelly as a pets had obviously been staying there. Overall though good visit, friendly staff, awesome location and I would stay here again.

Cold room
Heating is a problem in the cold seasons, on the fifth floor. Balcony doors are old and let in lots of cold air. The radiator does not produce a lot of heat. Otherwise, the rooms are nicely appointed & the service is excellent.

Walked in with Amex asking for a paid upgrade. Was rudely told there were no rooms. Understandable; could have been done without the attitude from the spanish male concierge. Found a family of rats running in the room. Suddenly a room opened up for us to move. It might be hard for me to believe that there was no room to upgrade to in the first place. Hats off to the filipina concierge for the fast reaction and the maintenance team who came to help. Rat traps found underneath bed and behind the sofa. Clearly, rats were already expected to be in this room. Glad to have the rest of the trip rat-less. Still the first day was a disaster. Please avoid like the plague.
