This property was nice and close to the Peace Arch Border Crossing. The check-in was quick and efficient. The front desk staff were professional yet accommodating. You definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. The Cleanliness is ok. The breakfast is not the best. The one inch gap under most of the doors to the rooms, allows a lot of noise to come into the rooms from the hallway. This is also something that I would question if it would meet the fire code.

Good and bad

Good- hotel was clean, housekeeping work very hard here, check in and out front desk was lovely. The bad- the hotel is very dated with patched wall paper, ripped shower curtains and small towels. We were very disappointed they allowed swimming lessons in the 10x20 foot pool. My family of 3 and 2 others kids were playing on the pool when a private lesson began and we were requested for the 5 of us to use one half while the 1 child and instructor used the other half to swim laps, they also had zero towels available. Overall it’s a good location for a border crossing but I think we’ll pick a different hotel for next time.

There was a loud mechanical noise that came on every 20 minutes all night. Like the heating system was broken. I needed rest and got about two hours of sleep.

We told the front desk our fridge never got cold and there was some kind of compressor in the room below us that kept turning on every half an hour. We are not complaining. I guess I just have to remember to switch hotels if there is a hockey team that arrives after I have been there for a few days and they are allowed to be slamming doors and yelling after midnight, then up at 5am doing the same before they leave for the day. No one shut it down after midnight which surprised me. They are kids and should be able to run and have a good time, but by midnight it should be quiet in a hotel. I wanted the BW to be my place of stay for work when in the area, I will figure something else out.
