We were not sure what to expect with our stay here. It is mostly a holiday campground for tents and trailers, but they have 8 hotel rooms for rent. The room and bathroom were spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette. There was a nice patio with chairs and a cafe table. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. The campground personnel were helpful and friendly. The campground is on a lovely lake with hiking trails. Fishing is close by. The location is conveniently located near Twizel. We were pleasantly surprised by our very comfortable accommodations.

Bit further away from Twizel town… cabin was clean and big in size… However common play equipment/ playground for kids were old and needed some updates.

A bit basic - no coffee maker other than instant. House keeping is nothing more than new towels and dish towels. Water backed up in the bath and all sinks on our last morning. The were still full when we left. Pay a little more and stay in a nicer place.

Good overnight stop

A comfortable overnight stay for a road trip. The receptionist was so friendly. The room was comfortable and close to the toilets/kitchen with free parking outside the cabin. The toilets and kitchen were relatively clean.

We stayed in the studio for 3 adults with spa bath. It was very comfortable and had everything we required. We only had an overnight stay and unfortunately it was raining in the evening when we arrived so we quickly explored the area in the morning before heading up to Mt Cook. Would definitely stay there again.

Quirky old style overnighter

The guy at teception was friendly. The place definitely takes you back in time. Humble basic set up needing some love The shower block was quirky but awesome shower temperature and strength. The bunk beds in our cabin wrre firm and squeaky. The cabin had a bar fridge which was great. Right next to the lake.

Big room . Very clean . Just 5 mins from shops and restaurants. Nice walks around lake. Lake view only when sat at the small table in corner or sat out side, which was also spoilt by tents and campers, but overall good value for money
