Don’t do it.
We were enticed by the price and the fact that it’s a chain - usually chains have some standard of quality. Even had good reviews on Expedia! They must have been stacked by management because this place is filthy. My partner and I don’t have particularly high standards, we go tenting, use communal bath houses, etc, but this place was nasty. Faint smell of sewage throughout. Floors were sticky, unswept and unmopped. Pizza sauce, I think? All over the floor. Human hair tumbleweeds rolling around. Some brown stuff spattered on the ceiling and the walls. Pillows/sheets had stains that I’m trying not to think too hard about.
Bed is advertised as a queen - this is legitimate false advertising as the bed is objectively a double - the tag on the box reads 52.5”x74”, a queen is 60”x79”. Not even close. Told staff, they didn’t care.
Poorly patched holes all over. Shower head is about 5’5” high so unless you’re petit you’re going to have to duck under it. All the towels had body hair weaved into them. Very noisy outside. Had strangers knocking on the door at night.
Perhaps the only nice thing I can say is that the mattress appears to be new. We did a bed bug check on account of the recent bed bug reports on google and discovered this nice tidbit. And the fact that it’s 8” undersize.
TLDR: room is filthy; “queen” beds are actually doubles; just cough up the extra cash and stay at the holiday inn across the street, or probably literally anywhere else.
