The room and location suited my basic needs, but I was disappointed. The photos online do not match what you get. It’s definitely more rundown in person and kind of a place I wouldn’t want to hangout in general. It seemed fairly dirty, overall. The continental breakfast was very slim pickings and the food looked old and stale, I wouldn’t recommend relying on them for your breakfast. Positives: It was mostly quiet for my stay and there were restaurants and grocery stores within short driving distances. I went and bought groceries instead of eating their provided breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The property is in a horrible condition. Pigeon poop on the stairs have not been cleaned foe weeks, the pool has green stuff on the floor, the hot tub is in disrepair probably for weeks, the entrance to the stairs have not been cleaned for weeks, the laundromat and vending machines by the pool is like a homeless shelter, …. Do not recommend it. I would give it a zero if i could

Clean, functional and safe hotel on the edge of 29 Palms. Friendly staff, quality extras, convenient and easy check-in. It's not a hotel you'd go to as a destination, but as a stop-off point for the Joshua Tree National Park, it ticks every box. Book with confidence.

This is a Worst Western, not Best.
We booked a suite. It was disgustingly dirty and we walked out (after taking photos). It was that bad that despite paying in advance we gave the keys back to the receptionist. She was very apologetic and said she had a different room, a jacuzi room that we could look at. We looked and decided to stay as it was a hassle trrying to get another place that late and we had been driving all day. The whole place is run down, the pool is filthy, you'd probably cat h a disease if you used it. And, having downgraded our room to one half the size and with no kitchenette the hotel offered us NO refund or money back.

The registration wa great. Mikayla was very helpful. The rooms was ok, but the outside grounds were terrible. They need to hire a landscape company to trim trees , pull weeds fix the landscape rock. The pool area was even worse. Had to go out to the pool area to get ice. Not very accessible.

The staff was friendly, but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The cleanliness was fine in the bedroom, but the bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would’ve liked.

Disgusting property. Pool was disgusting, dirty shaving razor was at the pool edge with toilet paper all around, beer cans all over, and the bathroom had mold and the floors turned your feet black. DISGUSTING PLACE. Found bugs in our room, one was crawling on me in the middle of the night. If I could give zero stars I would.

Beds were comfortable and location was convenient. Pool was green and covered in sludge - completely unusable. Rooms were clean-ish, walls were thin, and there were cockroaches. Wouldn’t stay again.
