Manager and staff were kind. Room was not very clean. Shower had hair in it. Floors weren’t clean. Bed frame had collection of dust, crumbs and dirt. Little shampoo and conditioner bottles were used.

Great Budget Friendly Clean Hotel

Not the most updated hotel but very clean and the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds. Main complaint is that there should be coffee available in the lobby during the mornings and evenings at a minimum.

Service was great and the bedding was clean. However, the bathroom was dirty. The shower had big stains in the corners and the towels were dirty.

Property looked decent on the outside and in the front lobby- get on the elevator at your own risk—it’s very old & shady. No ice machine. Smelled of weed. I had suite and one room had A/C cold air and the bedroom only ran heat.

Would have rated this property higher had I not gone into the bathroom. Toilet seat slid around. Stoppers in sink and tub were broke so had to take both out for water to drain. Shower liner full of mildew. Water pressure average, not great. We stayed in the first room off the lobby, across from elevator and ice machine. Never heard either one. Beds and pillows were comfortable enough. Breakfast was not as advertised. No waffle set up, no cereals, no breads, no juice, and food provided was not prepared well. However, for the price I would stay here again.

This property was not clean, there were stains on the bed linen, spots and writing on the walls, the tubs looked dingy and a bad smell in the rooms. After being offered 5 rooms of which none were any different I requested a refund (which I an still waiting for) and I booked a room at another hotel.

I only added a star because the staff was very nice. The room was scary. Yes. Scary. We wanted a private area and the kids their own TV. We upgraded to the split room. Nothing like the pictures. The pull out bed was so filthy, I hated to put my kids on it. The blanket they gave me for it had a cigarette burn in it. There was a sock under the couch. There was a penny under the desk so basically not vacuumed properly. There was a poop stain on the wall by the toilet. Hair on the sheets. Bad places make us appreciate the good ones so we stayed. This place needs an update very badly. We will not be back. I grew up in Cottondale and can honestly say, the Microtel is one step under this one at the bottom of the list of hotels. We are cheap but it's one thing to save some money and another to be in a gross room. Back to the Rodeway next time.

STOP. Don’t stay here. The hotel is run down and the owner is a terrible person. I stayed here with 2 small well behaved service dogs that I have for my PTSD and Audhd and the owner grilled me til I cried myself to to sleep. If that’s not enough the place was terribly run down. The barn door style door for the bathroom was about to fall completely off. There were no tissues, and stains on the couch
