The place was okay , the pool wasn’t completely private as what separates deck is just sticks which people can see through, I asked about laundry…. no response…I ordered food a couple of times that never came. I didn’t get a full tour I guess because I was raining in my arrival but it never happened after anyway.. I don’t know the place was nice but service….. meh.

The hotel was pretty and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful and the onsite restaurants were amazing. The room was exceptionally moldy to the point where it was uncomfortable to be in and my allergies were very active making it hard to breath.

Beautiful hotel in a not so great neighborhood. Not walkable, need a car to get to more desirable parts of town. Room was pretty nice, but the private patio had a broken gate and wasn’t very private.

The hotel was amazing from the first day until the end! I even extended my stay twice! Very relaxing atmosphere in the jungle. The two on-site restaurants serve incredibly cuisine as well. The entire staff was very professional, helpful & accommodating! The hotel is in the jungle which loved but still close to everything you want to see or need. Huge thank you to Mariana, Ivy, Selina and the property manager Paola for making this trip unforgettable! I already can’t wait to return and spread the word about the amazing Copal Tulum hotel! The hotel it’s amazing and the staff is extremely friendly and polite, both pools were incredible, and mini jungle they have inside of the hotel makes it even better, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed.

The pool and restaurant were very beautiful. The room was pretty good but the bathroom needs a bit of TLC. I would have liked for the scooters, bikes and tours offered by the hotel to be a bit cheaper. You can find much cheaper options nearby. We didn’t like Tulum very much, it was too expensive and touristy but we were glad we could come back to a nice hotel and relax in the pool.

Copal Tulum has a beautiful junglesque, plantiful, eco friendly, earthy feel. We had a studio with garden pool. It was v spacious for two people. The decor was lovely and tiki. The pool out the backyard was just ok - not super inviting. It would have been nice if it was heated. There were a good few mosquitoes in the room - I'm guessing that due to the natural surrounding environment. The overall feel is lovely and relaxing with no sound pollution. The top floor pool was v relaxing at night. The restaurants were limited and while good and have a gorgeous feel are v expensive. Prepare to spend 100$ for a dinner for two (2 main courses, 1 side, a drink, water and tip). The staff are warm and humble and very easy to ask any questions and suggest things. The road to the hotel is a bit scary. On the first night the taxi brought us down a side road that was uneven, very ramshackle and kind of scary as it had no street lights. We took taxis everywhere (which will add up and vary in cost depending on the driver) but I'm sure you could walk 15 mins or bike to a restaurant up the road if you feel confident enough. Overall - for the price it was a lovely, unique stay! The hotel suggested a trip to a protected beach reserve at alito hotel. It was a gorgeous beach with v calm water, very clean and no one bothers you. What they don't tell you in advance is that you have to pay a fee to enter the reserve & 1000 pesos to rent a cabana but you get a meal and two drinks (great value though!)
