Not so great stay.
The breakfast and evening reception were great, as usual. However, the air didn't work in our room. It was a hot weekend. Also, the TVs wouldn't stay connected to the service so channels were intermittent. Lastly, there were sports tournaments all weekend so the hotel was crowded with loud kids behaving badly.

Had to change room heat/AC not working!
Let me start with my hotel check in lady charged my card even though I told her I booked through third party. Then she laughed about it. Then lady walking out of hotel said she did the same to her. Then I got to the room it just got redone but I had a hole in the ceiling while showering. Then at night I noticed the heat wasn’t working. I called down to the front desk they said an engineer would come up. Then about 30 mins to hour later they told me they blew a circuit and I would either deal with it or I would have to pack my stuff up around 9 PM then head down 5 floors to new room. I got to new room and the electrical outlets didn’t work for my room and the cable didn’t work. Not a good stay at all.

Not completely happy
I was very impressed about the room and hotel in general. But the pool was shut down after the first day of being there and by the time they fixed it we were gone. The reason I picked the hotel was the amenities for children. The breakfast was the same as any hotel. Not the breakfast I was expecting at the embassy suites.

Plumbing was terrible, with stopped up toilet discovered upon check in that I had to contact front desk three times and 12 hours before I could get fixed. Had to go to lobby to use bathroom. Shower head about to fall out of wall. Water pressure was abysmal. Floor was nasty and dirty in need of deep cleaning. No ice machine on my floor and only one elevator out three were working. Door lock stopped working on the second night and had to get maintenance to come fix that. The breakfast buffet food was all cold when the servers brough it out as if the pans were sitting as they cooked the food in batches and filled them. Felt like I got ripped off for nearly $500 for two nights.

Nice place. The remodel project was an issue. Mostly disappointed with only one elevator operational (of three) and the property was full, eight floors. VERY slow elevator. Sometimes over 10 minutes. Hot breakfast was excellent.

Even though under construction the staff made sure we were not bothered. The construction worker even helped an elderly lady get to her room. My only complaint was our room was colder than a well diggers fanny. But for the price, everything was fine!
