The Viscount Suites has fallen on harder times. The layout is nice, parking is ample and easy, and the room designs are fine. The bedroom was comfortable and the entryway was well appointed. But the bathroom door had parts of the paneling peeling away, and the door to the bathroom had to be wrestled into place. WIFI only reached part of the suite. When we arrived, a current guest was complaining that, although they were leaving that day, having the room cleaned was no longer necessary, but could they please have the roll of toilet paper they had been asking for. We have stayed at this property several times in years past, but found that the above, as well as the degradation in the depth and quality of the complimentary breakfasts were a big disappointment.

Horrible, dirty. Carpets were stained, mold on the air vents, dirty tissues by the beds, dirt on “clean” bed sheets. First night the pipes were making noise every other hour. Next night yellow water started leaking from the ceiling. Do not stay here. This place needs to be condemned.

Affordable. Great view. free hot breakfast included. Safe parking around the hotel so you can park near your room. A few stains In the room but it was clean regardless. This was my second time at this hotel and I will be back. Best bang for your buck

Location of property is perfect. It’s close to some great places to eat and places to shop. The lobby area is nice,but the rooms are long overdue for remodeling. The bathroom is the worst with rusty corroded ceiling vents. The thin wood covering on the bathroom door was peeling off on both sides and there was water damage in the drywall in several places.

The hotel is getting run down. My first room had a broken toilet. The 2nd room required a maintenance man to switch the room from a/c to heat. Lots of small maintenance items like the Keurig didn't work & a cabinet wouldn't close.

WiFi is terrible. Normally that wouldn’t bother me but I was on a work trip and really needed a good connection. Sometimes it didn’t connect at all, sometimes it was just slow. No matter where I went: my room or the lobby. The rest of the stay was just average. You get what you pay for.

It’s an aging facility, in need of many upgrades and renovations. I assume the higher pricing, I paid, is due to the central location in town. The cleanliness was fine but it’s hard to really clean aging floors, furniture, walls and surfaces. There were many little things that need addressing, e.g. sink handle had to be tweaked just so, so it didn’t drip/run, bathroom floor was a little dirty and became slimy/ slippery after showering condensation set in, moulding and grout in the shower and around sink, was stained dirty from age, some of the towels provided were threadbare, front desk was majorly understaffed for the volume of business on the nights I stayed, staff was trying to keep up but was overwhelmed and unable to help everyone in a timely manner. Parking lot was full at night and I had to park in dark, distant parking areas, which I did not feel overly secure parking or walking in. The good things were the location- convenient, the staff tried their best- which I appreciated and the breakfast buffet was great! Simple set-up and fare but the food was tasty and the buffet is staffed by really attentive and efficient employees. It was their show and they run it really well! Overall, I thought the price was too high for the room itself but it wasn’t a bad overall experience. If some major renovation money was spent, it could easily be a top flight place again.

The reservation process was quick and easy. The rooms were bigger than average size rooms which included a small living room space, area for refrigerator and microwave, and bedroom area. Breakfast was included which was great and a nice dinning area for guest. Lunch and dinner can be purchased which is a reasonable price. The area was very relaxing and my family and I just felt comfortable for the price we paid. The staff were kind and helpful. The front desk agent “Taylor” was busy with guest checking in but she was calm and kept it professional although guest were becoming impatient for her being busy. I asked Taylor to assist me in finding a connecting room for both rooms I reserved and she was kind enough to spend 10-15 minutes trying to locate the rooms for my accommodations. This agent deserves a recognition for the exceptional service she has provided. I highly recommend this location and hotel because of the service and size of rooms they provide, also the location of the hotel is near any store if you needed one.

We had no heating in our room during our stay there. We asked for repaird and no one showed up. Only one small garbage can four 4 adults. We had to ask for Blankets, no bathroom tissues were given. Breakfast was mediocre and did not offer many options. Service was very poor.

Update your hotel! Went to 4 different rooms to have a working tv after the 4th room we just gave up. Walk your rooms before handing out keys! The first assigned was not clean and I over heard the guest in front of me dealing with the same issue.
