The VIP was non existent, no credit for drinks as promised. The live music in the lounge would have been great if he didn't have to compete with the baseball game and yelling at every pitch. Many other TVs could have been utilized.

Lousy hotel for an expensive price.. First, foothill location seems nice but it’s crammed against mountains without any convenient place to walk or enjoy the views. Also bad food with limited menu in restaurant.. Take my word for it, you’ll be very disappointed..

I had high hopes for my stay at Loews Ventana Canyon, but unfortunately, it fell short in some key areas. My biggest disappointment was with my room. The AC didn’t work, and the room was uncomfortably hot throughout my stay. I immediately informed the hotel staff, both through messages and in person, but no meaningful resolution was offered. They didn’t even attempt to move me to a different room, nor was any form of compensation provided. Adding to the frustration, I was charged $60 in resort fees for a two-night stay, yet the most basic expectation—a functional and comfortable room—wasn’t met. While the property itself is undeniably beautiful, with well-maintained trails and scenic surroundings, I can’t overlook the lack of attentiveness from staff and management. For the amount I spent on my stay, including the cost of drinks and the buffet, I expected far better service and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Ultimately, while the location is lovely, the indifferent attitude toward guest satisfaction leaves much to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless management takes steps to prioritize their guests’ experiences.
