A little slice of heaven on a stressful trip.

All the staff are very helpful. Especially want to recognize Yvonne for her above-and-beyond service. She really helped us extend our stay one more night and made what was a difficult job over the booking apps into a pure breeze. Thank you Yvonne for making that as stress free as you did! Breakfast is very good. Self serve Hot waffles! YAY!! They also have hot sausage, eggs, Yoplait yogurts, cereals and toasts! The super comfy pillow top beads are out of this world comfortable. The only thing I would improve on is making humidifiers available. Tucson is already a dry place. The room air-conditioner is extremely efficient at removing any molecules of moisture out of the air and can make it uncomfortably dry at night. I wake up crispy and parched. Have tried putting a wet hand towel over the a/c vent to help. This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed here during the Tucson Gem Show and we are really happy to have found this La Quinta Inn & Suites Tucson Airport. Looking forward to our stay next year!

Very adequate hotel for an overnight stay. It is a little worn, as it gets a lot of use, I think. The bathroom doors could stand a good cleaning if not some paint.

It was fine for 1 night

We got in very late and the car rental company was closed but the hotel sent the shuttle and got us there. The room had food and empty boxes by the dresser and the water didn't stay hotel in the shower The manager apologized and was going to have the supervisor call re a discount or some other accommodation. Waiting to here

When using the tv, the guide was all mixed up. You got the movie and it was news, you hit a show and it was mtv. Nothing was what it was supposed to be. Put soda in the refrigerator and they froze. Two of them exploded. Everything i left the room, i had to get new keys because they wouldn't work. The hosts was friendly enough but just laid it off. A lot of frustration all around.

Front desk didn't acknowledge us when we came in. There was another guest in front of us, but at least we could have been welcomed with "I'll be right with you" but was not. Also stopped the checkin process several times to chat with other staff members. Bathroom had used towels hanging on racks. Would not visit again.

Very nice and very clean property. They really need to update the microwaves in the rooms. So old they do not even turn the food. I would not use it.

Apparently the policy (unknown to the customers) is that the room is cleaned every third day. When asked to clean the room daily the staff did not comply. The room was not done for three days. I had to pick up clean towels myself. Not good.

Disappointing

Our assigned room was uninhabitable due to a running, extremely noisy broken toilet. The desk clerk did change us to an equivalent room, but without any apology and after we had to wait for two other parties to check in. The heating system was very noisy. Out of five pillows, not one was soft, which I need for a decent night's sleep. Breakfast (rubbery eggs and all) was served using environmentally unfriendly styrofoam plates and cups.

The hot water and coffee machine are only available during breakfast hours (6 am-9am). I asked about hot water in the evening. 2 times out of a 6 night stay, the front desk was willing to help me. The rest of the time I was told NO. Breakfast was sparse. The shower only had lukewarm water the entire stay. Hotel was not very clean. The front desk manager did help with changing our departure date. That was the only positive thing. Disappointed in our stay.
