The cabin was great!! Loved the quiet area and it was close to gas and convenience store and restaurants. The only minor issue was the in room coffee maker. There were some huge coffee filters that didn’t seem to be designed for the small coffee maker. I was hesitant to fill them with coffee grounds and then fold it up to fit. I was afraid that the bundle of the filter and coffee grounds would make a mess. Also, if it had worked, I would have had to drink the coffee out of the pot since no cups were provided. Luckily there was a coffee shop about a minute away by car. I would definitely stay there again.
My husband and I were on a mini-vacation to Bryce Canyon and stayed 2 nights in the cabin. What a pleasant surprise! The room was clean, the bed soft, but supportive, the best water pressure in the shower that we've probably ever experienced! The only "minus" in our stay was we couldn't get the TV to lower the volume. But that was a very minor inconvenience! We highly recommend staying here!
The bed was comfortable and so was the sofa. The microwave and fridge area was poor. The fridge was a mini fridge and did not hold much. The bathroom vanity was the only place to store food items. The area was quiet and a quick drive to Bryce.
Cabins are cute and well appointed. Bed comfort was so-so. Microwave and fridge were appreciated. Shower pressure and temp control was good. We liked the privacy of individual units. Upon entering the unit we were hit with a strong, nauseating smell of pine; not ckeaning pine but masking up something else pine. I made the mistake of taking off my shoes and socks and the carpet was nasty under my feet. Bring slippers. The electronic lock did not work- someone was going to replace the batteries but that didn't happen.

Disliked: Amenities
Doesn't feel equiped to be renting out in winter. We arrived and heater was out. Was colder inside than out. I was unable to reach via cell phone due to service. Attempted email with no reply. Travel partner able to get call through after trying different things. They brought space heaters. Took two hours to get room where I didn’t have to wear snow clothes. We had hiked all day and i was super tired. So made it a bit harder to deal with. Room was average. Stained carpet. No extra anything. Felt overpriced. Owner made no effort to reduce price and do anything for the heater issues. I think some kind of reduction seemed more than fair. But no offer of any type. I dont even think we got a sorry for the inconvenience. Frustrated to pay so much and get what we did.

Careful of your location when you search. It was a good price when I was searching outside the park and compared it to the local rates. Found the same cabin for half the price when I was actually in Tropic. So you could say I over paid.
Comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The heater was very loud and right by the bed so it was hard to find a comfortable temperature, especially since the blanket was thin. I would have been happy to have the temperature low and a more heft blanket in the winter. Also, the toilet was wobbly and there was some dust and cobwebs. A little rustic but overall good.
