In general , the hotel is very nice. However, amenities are very basic, a high-end hotel has no wash clothes in the room, Kleenex run out not replenish, only 1 flat pillow per person, and had to make use of the sofar cushion to fit my head while sleeping. Twice I called reception counter but never answered and had to go to the reception counter in person for service, I refused to go to the lobby myself for the second time. I would not give this hotel a thumb up for recommendations.

The place is nice but not 4 stars

The stuff is nice and very helpful. My check in was very quick as well. That is a huge plus. But the hotel needs a renovation. The furnutire is old. The bathroom is also old. The breakfast is good. I enjoyed. I would not give it 4 stars because the interiour is kind old. But the room itself was clean.

Highly recommend

Very good value for money and excellent stay with no faults. Staff very friendly and welcoming, kindly stored my luggage before check in. Rooms and hotel is very outdated but this did not affect stay. Room very spacious, tea and coffee in room. Also nice seating area in room. Very close to town centre, snacks available from reception. Restaurant closed due to low season.

Property is right on the edge of the of the main city center and across from one of the Roman ruins. It’s walkable to most sites and about 10-15 min walk from the train station. Rooms were well sized and clean but pretty basic otherwise.

Great stay with a view of Porta Nigra. I had booked a room with two singles and the receptionist was a bit rude (or maybe just German blunt) and said our room was two single beds pushed together, which is very common in Germany. It was okay, but not the room I purposely paid more for. The heating was so hot we were sweating and the only option to turn it off and have the window open was loud. Also very common in Europe to have overly heated accom so very normal. The room was clean and we had complimentary sparking water which was lovely. Would be nice if the hotel had a pool or sauna but we were busy enough in town every day that it was okay it didn't have these facilities and we knew this before booking.

The location of this property is unbeatable, especially for the price. The views are absolutely stunning and the entire city is very walkable from the hotel. The main thing we did not like was that the lamps on the bed are directly above your head and we hit our heads a few times.
