Barking dogs times 4.

We have stayed here a few times. It is getting pretty run down. The room just really needs some updates. What really made the stay not so great is we were put in a wing with not 1 or two...but 4 barking dogs. We come in retired with no pets and no kids and someone thinks I know lets put them between some dogs! Seriously, it's a 4 story complex with wings in two directions on each floor but we get first floor, dog wing!

I’m very disappointed we paid for a superior river view got stuck on first floor limited view due to a fence and shrubs throw in a badly water stained window. I immediately went to front desk they said to bad we are going to be full. I let them know I paid for the higher priced superior view he said not my problem try the manager tomorrow. I also had no clue that 1st floor was the pet floor so barking dogs at night and early morning. The room smelled and the bed was like a hard box. The hall smells like cigarette smoke because staff smoke in back with door open. I knew it was an older hotel I was ok since I really wanted that river view. It basically sucks. They need a full remodel and customer service training.

Clove Inn review

Room was very dated and bed wasn’t comfortable. The hotel was clean and had a good view. I’ve Harbor restaurant across the street had great food and great service.

This property is well-situated. There is a friendly staff. The hotel is in the middle of a much-needed renovation-update. The restaurant is closed. At present, it is clean but very dated.
