Sugar Beach Resort was a great place for our week in Traverse City. The beach and views were spectacular. The staff were personable and helpful. The Resort was centrally located for all our daily excursions. We met people from around the world. Our only negative was the the room could have been cleaned better as well as ours balcony.

The bathroom was not clean which makes me wonder about the rest of it. We were really disappointed with the breakfast---that it was brought to our room and was a boxed breakfast.

I liked that the beach is right behind the hotel, parking was never an issue and we had access to the indoor pool/jacuzzi. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back next year!

The bed was comfortable. Rooms were kept up with nicely. Staff were friendly and accommodating. All were very helpful. I especially liked the emails from the staff checking to make sure everything was going well for us.

We were in town for a wedding. A group of us were staying at the hotel. On arrival we were upgraded to a family suite for free. The room was amazing. Pool area was clean. It was great having the beach right there. Overall wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and prompt with all of our needs :)
