This was my second time staying at ParkShore. It’s a nice affordable place to stay. My husband and I had a great time at the lounge, there was a DJ on Friday night. The only thing we didn’t love was the pillows, they were a little small. It was still a comfortable sleep, and we said we’d just bring our own pillows next time. Overall, it was a great stay. We would definitely come back!

Well kept hotel. Staff was helpful. The lounge/bar/restaurant good was good. The breakfast was the average continental but fresh, good selection and very clean. The view on the water side and along the beach is incredible!!!

Everything was excellent except for one thing. The 4 -16×16 pillows for a King size bed should've been bigger. Other than that we were totally satisfied and definitely would stay there again when visiting Traverse City. The Lounge had a great happy hour with delicious food and great drinks.

Over all it is a nice property. Comfortable beds, clean room and lobby area. The staff works hard and very helpful and friendly The continental breakfast is only available Monday thru Friday. On the weekends they charge you for the breakfast buffet, yes there are more choices to choose from, but if you are a paying quest it should be included with the room charge. The continental breakfast is only available after Labor Day up to Memorial Day. The pool and spa need work. The spa jets do not work well. Both the pool and spa had lots of sand on the bottom. We were for 3 nights and it didn't look like they were cleaned. The tile in the pool was dirty. The side and bottom of the pool needs to be refinished

The pool area was dirty, there were band aids on the floor, and the pool was full of sand and there was alot of sand on the pool chairs as well. The night time desk person was not very personable. Husband went to get pool towels and she said not one word to him - just pushed the clipboard towards him and handed him towels. The room was average. Not worth what we paid to stay there. The lounge is a nice feature, can have drinks and not worry about driving. We had dinner there, the prime rib and it was very tough and not very good.

Very clean smells clean too ! Right on beach had lower walk out room great view. Rooms were nice with good size mini fridge There is a restaurant and bar and room service. Only small issue was room seemed a tad damp I believe carpets may of just been cleaned opening sliding glass doors took care of most of that. Great place to stay honestly.

We stayed one night for a one day tour of the city. Our room was clean and we had a first floor balcony over looking the beach. It was such an amazing view and that feature made our trip so much better. Thw locarion was perfect only about 10 minutes from the wineries and downtown restaurants. I had a great lemon drop at the bar and got to request tuned from the DJ. The only problem is there were a group of unsupervised children in thw pool area that were guite noisy. Overall great experience and will go again.

Our first time at this hotel and didn't know what to expect. We were very excited to see the clean, comfortable rooms. The view of the water and being right on the beach is a huge plus. Hotel has a nice restaurant and complimentary breakfast for the mornings. We definitely recommend the Parkshore hotel.

The view was spectacular. However, there were bugs all over the bed when I checked in and I can't figure out why. If the prior client left the patio door open and the bugs got in, I can understand that's not the hotel's fault...but how didn't they catch it when they cleaned the room?? OR, maybe they cleaned the room with the patio door open...I don't know. The housekeeper who came to change the beds gave me brand new linens, which was awesome, however, someone had left period blood in the sitting chair, so he had to go and find another cushion for us. There was also mold in our shower ceiling. Otherwise, I was annoyed that the staff of the lounge was circling our table like vultures while we ate breakfast. They were asking us what we wanted so that they could break down all of the other stations. We could literally not put our cup on the table without someone coming to collect it or asking if we were done. Then they stood around while we ate, so I finally asked if they shut down after breakfast, because we were the only family there and the woman admitted that they do. They were quite obviously ready for us to leave, even though they must not have been closed because a woman came in right before we finally gave up and left. The only other thing was that on the second day of our stay, housekeeping came in while we had the DND sign on the door...thank goodness we were fully dressed! The day we checked out, the housekeeping cart was in the middle of the hall when we cameout
