Great central location for visiting the region. Very close to the main train station with direct connections into Munich, Salzburg, and regional tourist locations. Hotel breakfast is perfect to fuel you for the day. Rooms are cozy and well appointed.

Stopped here as it was "near" (an hour away) to the Eagle's Nest which we were visiting the following day and one if the more reasonably priced hotels available at short notice (€148). Hotel setting is lovely, parking our car opposite by the park in which we had our evening meal from a Steak House restaurant on the corner. Room was large, clean, quite dated but fit the style of the hotel which is over 100 years old. Good choice of breakfast in the morning. No negatives to call really, definately recommend.

Comfortable and convenient
Great hotel, central to the town ( anout 5 minutes walk to the main square), but quiet giving a restful night. Private and secure parking is available at no extra cost which is a significant benefit, particukarly for motorcycles. Easy to find and would highly recommend. Didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment; good continental breakfast available with convenient hours. Unsure of when the bar/ restaurant was open, but I'm sure if you asked reception they would let you know. We were staying in March which is really off-season.

A comfortable stay
Is a nice budget and cozy hotel. The staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. The building is historical and has a good charm to it. I do not have any complaints. They could eventually slightly mordernize the interiors at least the guest rooms.

Quaint hotel, great service, good value
We were passing through the area, and stayed one night at the Parkhotel. It’s a quaint German hotel. The two floor room had lots of space, and included a kitchen and living quarters. Breakfast in the morning was great (buffet included). Great and happy service (unlike a few other hotels in Germany), all spoke English. Good value. Location is in the center of town, within walking distance of many restaurants.
