We had two rooms for a family mini break. The rooms were really spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel is ideally situated for easy access to the beachfront, the pier also the town centre. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and we had the best time. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend

Me and my son really injoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly. Our room was a executive room very big and spacious. The restaurant was closed during our stay which was a shame and the outdoor pool which was fine because it was a bit chilly. However when we got to the room the toilet was dirty and I had to clean it, also the mugs, glasses and spoons were not clean. The breakfast was good which we only had once as I felt it was a bit too expensive. Over all great stay and good location.

Wonderful stay
We was in room 106 which was a little dated but spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows one of the comfortable i have slept in. The indoor pool i thought was cold i would pay more for it to be a few degrees warmer. All staff was so friendly and breakfast is definitely worth paying for as it was absolutely delicious. On the whole we had a brilliant stay, would of been nice for a bit of entertainment but there are other places to you can go for that. Will definitely being going back again.

Perfect stay in Torquay
I had the perfect stay at Abbey Sands. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful, the cleaning lady is a gem. Everything perfectly clean and comfortable in this quiet hotel in a perfect location. I would definitely choose to stay here again

The Hotel had a flamboyant grandeur from yesteryear. The indoor pool was great. The room was very spacious. High ceilings. I would say perhaps the general decor could be updated slightly and carpets need cleaning more thoroughly or being updated. We didnt eat there so cant comment. The reception staff were really friendly and accommodating. Overall a nice stay in a great location.

Lovely hotel and staff
2nd visit to this hotel. All staff are so helpfull and friendly. Room 103 was gorgeous with quality furnishings. Didnt have time to use inside nor outside pools but looked very inviting. A short flat stroll to the the theatre.
