It is suited more for the air bnb crowd, i found it in need of a bit of a refresh, but these are really big condos converted into hotel suites so you get a lot of bang for your buck. Had a few issues but they handled them with me very well. Deposit is steep but i can understand seeing how these are massive rooms for the price. I love Poet Credit, it was my home for many years and the Waterside gave me the opportunity to revisit it.

Great location in port credit If staying in the summer get a room facing Lake Ontario some restaurants have live bands that can get noisy

I stayed there for 2 weeks. Wonderful and spacious rooms, kind staff, great service. Deducting one star for the gym which not functional and the washer/ dryer which were v old (had to go to the laundromat).

The hotel is "dated". Bed was old and not very comfortable. Lamps, furniture, etc... older.... but clean. We were there two nights... the room didn't have any "service" (i.e. new towels, bed made, etc). Don't count on the kitchen facilities. We had one coffee cup, two mis-matched wine glasses... a stove but no pots/pans/etc... a bit strange. Restaurant has been closed since the pandemic.... but loads of nice restaurants are near by. Good Location and decent place to stay - just tired.

First room was renovated and nice but moved us because the toilet leaked. Gave us an old, non-renovated room. Room not properly cleaned, only partial supplies in room. Housekeeping staff wonderful when asked for things for the room. Kind, helpful! Front desk staff had unwelcoming, abrupt on first two days. Gentlemen on last day pleasant.

Liked: Great room price and location. Misses: Could not get hot water for a bath…only warm water for a quick shower. Ongoing renovation work on the floor above our room was not mentioned. We were assured that it would only last for an hour on the day we checked in and would not happen for any of the remaining days of our stay. Next day we had to leave our room because it was too noisy. The Waterside really disappointed.
