Unfortunately, there were multiple issues. My first evening in my hotel room, two men knocked on my door at around 10 - 10:30pm. Neither of them were wearing a hotel uniform so I was scared as to why two men whom I did not know were knocking on my door so late. One of the men said that he was the housekeeping manager and asked if there was something left behind by a previous guest by the coffee machine, to which I said "NO". I did not open the door. They left and I immediately called reception, after describing the two men, the person at the reception confirmed at the man was the housekeeping manager. I suggested that in the future, if there is a need to contact a guest at 10:30pm, it would be better for hotel staff - especially staff that do not wear a hotel uniform - to NOT randomly knock on their door, but to call in advance to be able to forewarn the guest. The person at reception apologized and offered a complimentary breakfast. Upon reflection, I called back and spoke with a different person. I explained to this person what happened and said that upon reflection I would accept the complimentary breakfast. The person kindly apologized and said the breakfast coupon would be ready for me the next morning. I went to reception the next morning and the person at the reception said there was NOTHING in the system for n the system for me in regards to a complementary breakfast. Why offer a complimentary breakfast if this offer won't be honoured?

When you spend $300 for a night here you would expect that all the tv channels would work and that the washroom door would properly close but no and no. Many channels wont load or the quality is poor. Not happy about this as a returning guest.

The only thing I would compain about is the toilet height. It might seem minor bu we were in an accessable room and I would think code would require a height of 18" at least. Only thing I can complain about so pretty minor.

It was our wedding weekend. This was the perfect spot to stay at. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our wedding was at the city hall there(2min walk) and our dinner reception at the restaurant was like a 10min walk. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to do stuff in the general vicinity.

Overall stay was pretty good. Staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. My room over looked part of a lower floor roof, and the rain falling on it all night sounded like someone was tapping on the window all night. The shower be, was never filled. I had to use shampoo the 2 days that I stayed there.
