The location to Union Station was great. I was disappointed that the room was not completely prepared for 3 people as booked - lacking items. The pullout mattress in the sofa bed was terrible. On our return to the hotel they offered 2 queens which we took them up on, but if they are going to charge 3 people for king and pull out, the pull out should be usable.

Property was close to Union Station and sporting venues as well as restaurants. Newer hotel with gym and pool. TV system and remote were a bit strange and did not work well. Has to reboot TV a couple of times as it was frozen. Channel access was weird. Remote buttons not intuitive and could not change volume. It was either muted or displayed volume level but could not change it. Sometimes these engineers outsmart themselves!

Aware of my platinum status at check-in, no perk or upgrade was offered by Novotel. After reporting the check-in experience to Expedia, I received a call in the room about it, right before checking out. An individual suggested apologies and remedies, that were never actually offered nor materialized. Quite offensive, regardless of the status.
