I was a last-minute walk-in booking. Girl at the front desk told me they were only the expensive room left, But when I went to a book online, that was not true
Also, the TV couldn’t be turned off no matter what I tried, Super annoying!
Hotel Victoria is just perfect for me or me and the wife, as it is downtown, close to Union Station, theatre district, TTC, etc. It is unique with a history, yet modern with a nice foyer which is inviting, and has a bar, bkfst, coffee shop - very convenient
Staff were fine but the room was not. Smelled horribly of smoke and I was not able to change rooms. Location was great and may be worth the stay but you get what you pay for

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Room comfort
Lots of promise, negative result
The hotel was beautifully appointed and the staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately our room heating was stuck at 24 degrees and the fan did not work. It was so hot! Also our neighbours were obnoxiously loud. Either would have been fine but without the fan on the heating, we couldn't drown out the neighbours. It was so bad we checked out at 4am.
I like that was very convenient to everything clean room were very spacious the staff was very nice hotel is older but cute decor inside the lobby for really cute pictures and rooms decor was nice too.small hotel but kept very clean,i will defently recommend this hotel not to expensive either for the location.
The room was very tiny and looked like things were falling apart. The TV didn't work at all and we were told by the staff that 'that happens sometimes.' The elevator was not working so we had to take the stairs to get to our 5th floor room. An alarm went off at 6am in our room and our neighbours room, which was not turned off until over an hour and a half, in which we were unable to sleep. At one point the phone stopped working and I had to use my cell phone to contact the front desk for these issues.
