It was dingy, hard to find how to get in, I have photos of the grossest sink and bath I have ever used, I was next to the men’s toilet and bathroom which were used late and very early this morning so interrupting sleep. The woman who came to let me in was friendly. I didn’t check the ratings so I guess it’s my bad. I did try to find another hotel after I saw it but couldn’t find one.

It was an old hotel, but apart from one very large cockroach, it was very clean. You need to realise that these cockroaches fly in and the window was open. I would definitely stay there again during the Carnival of Flowers. For just an overnight stay it was fine.

the actual hotel was closed down. No meals, no bar no entry. only the upstairs sleeping quarters were open via a narrow staircase off a dark rear alley which had people smoking and hanging around there was no staff

If it just a bed you are after, then The Met is ok. It is basic, clean and the other people are quiet. The shared bathrooms are ok, take thongs. The rooms just have a bed and a hand basin. They do get cold in winter, warm clothes is a must After long days at FarmFest the sports club next door is the perfect place to have a great meal and a wind down until time to go to sleep as there is not kuch in the room to do. The cafe/kitchen is very basic with a microwave and fridge. With tea and coffee available. All in all for the price, The Met is fine. Parking is on the street

If what you look for is somewhere to sleep, it's totally fine . If you're on a tight budget and not look for the most convenient and comfortable stay, it's is welcome. I'm happy with my stay, with what I paid for. 🙂

Absolutely horrible experience. People drining and being loud from the moment checked in. Lifted my pillows to find hair all through my bed. Showers were flilthy aalong with toilet with no toilet paper at all. Wish I read the reviews before booking.

So noisey staff up 1130 at night crying on the balcony waking every body up slaming doors it is Midnight and we cant get back to sleep we will be requesting a full refund

The corridor smells of smoking. Room floors are covered with dirt. Doesn't look like it has been cleaned in weeks. Same with the cloth hangers, covered by dirt. Cockroaches crawl onto the bed. Dirty marks on pillow cases. No air con. No bathroom in room. On street parking only. Probably worth $50 per night.
